Depot

Refunds are given for all ready-to-serve liquid containers sold in the Yukon. This includes all beer, wine, liquor, pop, juice and milk containers.

What do we accept?

Please see our service announcements for any changes to our regular hours and services.

We Accept:

  • Beer, wine & liquor cans and bottles (plastic and glass)

  • Pop

  • Juice

    (including juices, soda pops, alcoholic drinks, coffee drinks blended with milk, liquid coffee flavouring, fruit smoothie drinks, drinkable yogurt)

  • Milk & milk alternative containers

    (including soy, almond, hemp, rice, cashew or coconut milks, milkshake products, liquid dairy or non-dairy creamer, liquid whipping cream)

WHAT ARE MY

CONTAINERS WORTH?

The amounts refunded on each container are set by the Yukon Government’s Beverage Container Regulation (not by Raven) and amount to the surcharge included on the purchase price of that container.

Donation accounts

Don’t want to bother with all that small change? Consider donating to one of our many donation accounts! Ask Depot staff for the full list. Want to create a donation account? Contact us at info@ravenrecentre.org.

Please make sure items are:

  • Empty

    Make sure containers are empty of all liquid.

  • Clean

    Rinse dirty containers – they don’t need to sparkle.

Please ensure all containers are empty and clean. Items that are contaminated may have to be thrown out instead of being recycled. No need to sort your containers, we do the sorting for you!
