Library

There are many ways to reduce, reuse, and recycle at home, in the classroom, and at work. Look through our condensed library of resources. Learn something new. Get inspired. Act. We’ve got plenty more where this comes from, so if there’s something missing or you’d like to dive a little deeper, please get in touch!

Education And Events

Since 1989, education has been a pillar of our organization. Good public education is vital to building a Zero Waste community, that’s why we offer tours and demonstrations free of charge to anyone interested in learning more about recycling! If you are hosting an event, we also offer waste station rentals.

Tours of Raven Recycling

  • We believe the best way for people to understand what we do at Raven is to show them, that’s why we offer tours of Raven Recycling for individuals or groups free of charge.

We encourage anyone interested in learning more about recycling in the Yukon to contact us and set up a tour. Whether it’s a large group or one person, we’re happy to accommodate.

Waste Station Rentals

waste stations
  • A key component to a successful zero waste event are well positioned waste stations. Providing recycling, compost, and waste bins together allows event attendees to easily sort materials.

Zero Waste Yukon rents Zero Waste Stations for any event!

You can rent up to 3 Zero Waste stations from us free of charge. You pick them up, and are responsible for dealing with any material you collect. We provide bins, bags and signs, everything you need to set up a sorting station. Simply bring them back clean when your event is finished.

Folding steel bins are easy to transport, with customizable signage to ensure you’re set up to divert as much waste as possible at your event! Get in touch to discuss how we can best meet the needs of your event!

Classroom/workplace Demonstrations

  • We provide classroom and workplace presentations free of charge. Want to give your class a presentation on recycling or educate your staff on proper material separation? Get in touch with us to arrange a presentation by one of our staff.

In addition, programming assistance as well as activities to engage and inform students, parents and the general public in a variety of recycling areas are available.

  • Raven offers waste audits for classrooms, offices and groups, free of charge! Want to educate your classroom or staff on proper material separation? Get in touch with us to arrange a presentation by one of our staff.
