Raven ReCentre Closure: December 25, 26, & January 1
Raven ReCentre, Raven’s Bottle Depot, Raven’s Reuseful Thrift Store, and Raven’s Tool Library will be closed, Thursday, December 25th for Christmas Day, Friday, December 26th for Boxing Day, and January 1st, for New Year’s Day.
We will still be open for Saturday, December 27th during regular hours.
After New Year’s Day, we will open again Friday, January 2nd during out regular hours.

Raven Recentre Excluded from Community Recycling by Yukon Government Without Notice or Consultation
The Yukon Ombudsman is assessing if it will investigate the Government of Yukon’s sudden and unilateral decision to exclude Raven ReCentre from processing recyclable materials from community depots. This decision, made without notice or consultation, threatens the organization’s operations and contradicts decades of successful partnership in the territory’s recycling system.
Raven Recentre will Receive Glass Starting September 16
Partnership with Lumel Studios will mean Yukoners no longer have to throw their bottles and jars in the trash. On Monday September 16, Raven ReCentre will accept clean glass bottles and jars at its 24-hour public drop-off facility at 100 Galena Road in Whitehorse.

Raven Announces New Operational Plans For 2024
To help ensure a more comprehensive collection service in Whitehorse, in concert with the new Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) regulations, Raven will no longer receive materials through its 24/7 public drop-off (i.e. bins for plastics, paper, cardboard, etc.) after December 31, 2023.
