Fyi…

Most materials brought to Raven are hand-sorted by our team. Our facility is small and our infrastructure is very basic, so information about recycling in other areas of Canada do not necessarily apply to what we accept! Please use the tips below to ensure we can recycle as much as possible. Contamination with other materials causes problems.

Find our hours and where in our facility we accept different materials by visiting our Facility and Hours page.

Please make sure items are:

  • Rinsed

Rinse dirty containers – they don’t need to sparkle.

  • Dry

    Keep paper clean and dry.

  • Sorted

Separate different materials – remove plastic packaging from cardboard boxes.

This goes a long way in helping Raven continue to recycle as much as possible. Recycling is a global industry with volatile markets. To ensure our materials are worth something, we have to sort items properly and keep contamination low.

Have an item that you’d like to recycle that isn’t listed? Unsure if an item is recyclable?
